Check-in/out was done by a machine, so it was quick and easy. The staff person at reception greeted us upon arrival and pointed to the machine. There was no further communication/interaction after that and we did not see any other staff during our stay. The laundry facility was easy to operate and appeared clean. The washing machine washes for 30 mins (typical for hotels in Japan) and our clothes looked clean and smelled pleasant afterwards. The dryer also dries for 30 mins but our clothes were still damp after two rounds. In the end we hung our clothes in our hotel room to air dry overnight. Our room was clean/tidy and well-presented when we arrived. There is compulsory room cleaning and changing of fresh towels on the third day of our stay for good hygiene practice. We stayed in a non-smoking room in the annex and could not smell any smoke in the corridors or lift during our stay. The bed was comfortable and the room size was small (expected) and cosy. There was enough space for two people to move around and have two large suitcases open. There are enough hooks and hanging space to air dry clothes and towels. The hotel is located opposite Exit 7 of Akasaka Station, so it was extremely convenient to catch the train and transfer to other lines. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and convenience stores around the hotel. The neighbourhood felt safe and it was quiet at night (no traffic or party sounds could be heard). The hotel met our expectations and we were satisfied with our stay. We would be happy to stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo-Akasaka again in the future.

Although the room was small -- everything was well planned and worked perfectly. We really appreciated all the extra things we could pickup at reception whenever we wished. These included teas and coffee we could make in our room as well as loads of bathroom amenities such as sponge, razor, hair brush, toothbrush, creams and cleansers for face and body. The staff were so nice, kind and helpful. We arrived after a 14 hour flight with a baby and their attitude made all the difference. We stayed 4 nights and would definitely stay here again. Really close to good transport, easy to get around Tokyo from here. Also lots of cafes, restaurants and shops very close by.

This ended up being our favorite hotel in Japan. While there are probably more luxurious accommodations out there, nothing beats the value of this hotel's location and the access to coffee. We underestimated how difficult it would be to find coffee shops in Tokyo that opened before 10am, luckily this hotel has one of the few early morning cafes down in the lobby. The convenience store is next door as well. We loved our interactions with the staff here, super friendly and helpful. We loved it so much that when we came back for our last night in Tokyo before leaving we cancelled our other booking to come back to this one.

This was our first time staying in Tokyo, and we couldn't have been happier with the location of this hotel - opposite a subway station so it's easy to connect to other lines, and it would be considered a "quieter" area which we really appreciated after big days in tourist-heavy areas. A lot of konbini and great restaurants within walking distance too, and all the amenities provided by the hotel were great - the on-site washer/dryers were very handy to access as well. The staff were brilliant and always willing to help out with whatever we needed, including some personal printing that was required during our stay.

Great location, hotel and service. The hotel is located in a busy neighbourhood with good restaurants, coffee shops and stores. It allows easy access to the metro and buses going to different parts of Tokyo. We took a cab from Haneda airport to the hotel, and it was about 50€. Regarding service: We had accidentally reserved a room for smokers, and the reception staff managed to get us a different room after 1 hour without any extra payment. The free face masks and other cosmetic accessories available in the entrance hall were a plus. Overall a great experience, and we would definitely recommend it to others.
